Perry is a print maker and lecturer from Auckland who has now settled in Central Hawkes Bay and has turned his hand to making bird houses. Each of Perry's bird houses is unique and original, with its design rooted in the vernacular of New Zealand architecture. By using found materials his designs echo the landscape around us - from the rusty tin shed to beautiful chapels. Usable for their purpose for nesting birds. Art in the wild.
His more recent work is painting New Zealand native birds on found objects and boards.
